Nepali Film Lazza - Movie Review Ft. Aaryan Sigdel | Shilpa Pokharel

New nepali film Lazza produced by Chhabi Ojha and directed by Nawal Nepal is released all over Nepal. Lazza features Aryan Sigdel and new actress Shilpa Pokharel. The rumor of Chhabi Ojha getting married with Shilpa Pokharel has helped a lot for the movie to create a good hype in the media. Before the release of Lazza, Shilpa Pokharel has got a good craze among the audience. Movie is written and directed by Nawal Nepal.

Story:

Lazza is a story of Parbati (Shilpa Pokharel) who is also known as Priya. Daya (Aryan Sigdel) falls in love at first sight with Priya. He tries to follow her and find about her but he fails every time. Accidentally, Priya meets the mother of Daya. Daya’s mother gets impressed by Priya on a single meet. Later Daya and Priya gets closer and Daya propose her for marriage. But Priya rejects and ignores him. Daya beg for his love and asks the reason of ignoring. With lots of force by Daya, Priya reveals her background. Daya finds that she is a call girl. Priya tells the story how Parbati became a call girl Priya. And Priya requests Daya to forget him as she will not be accepted by his family and society. Will Daya forget Priya after knowing this truth? What will happen next? Lazza Review:

Director Nawal Nepal and producer Chhabi Ojha has made movie in such a way that they are risk free to some extent. They didn’t cared for adding anything new and novelty. Same old story but they have presented in a new way. Story is the same that we have watched many time but it has been presented in the movie that will please the audience. Story of Chhabi and Nawal Nepal has good scope of adding comedy, action, suspense, romance, dialogues and emotions. And director Nawal Nepal has given his best on the screenplay. They have not missed to add anything that will make the movie feel bore or odd for their audience but definitely they missed to add some novelty.

Lazza’s main highlight was Shilpa Pokharel and there is a big question whether this movie will take Shilpa one step a head or not. Mark my words, Shilpa is next big thing for Nepali film industry. On her first debut movie, she has gave her best. Her performance is superb and she looks gorgeous too. Her role is the important character of the movie and the movie was in the hand of that character. Shilpa has saved the character which saved the whole movie. As a new actress her performance is superb. Thumbs up and welcome to Nepali film industry. We expect Shilpa will not follow the trend of other actors and actress by signing lots of movies which lacks quality.

No any actor can portray a lover boy character better than Aryan Sigdel. He has done superb. Mithila Sharma as a mother of Daya steals the show. Kiran K.C as a father of Daya makes audience smile when he comes to the screen. Mithila Sharma and Kiran K.C’s character adds value to the movie. Madan Kashyap Ghimire’s cinematography is another appreciable aspect of the movie. Kathmandu city is shown very beautifully.

Nawal Nepal is another Shiva Regmi of Nepali movie. He presents love and emotion aspects in his movie effectively. And he has succeed in Lazza too. But Lazza don’t have anything new and fresh to watch. We expected new and creative aspect in the movie from Nawal but it lacks. Movie will be loved by the audience of single screen but city area’s audience will not be pleased with the movie. Overall Lazza is an old wine in a new bottle.

Lazza is a family entertaining movie which has love, romance, female dialogues, action, family drama but lacks novelty in the story. One time watchable movie.
