Model Shankar BC, who has been credited for directing the music videos of more than 16 hundred folks
(dohori) songs, in his recent interview with Canadanepal.net has told that by
mistake he had inserted porn DVD in front of his co-artist Samjhana Budhathoki,
wife Nisha and other friends. "On Samjhana request, I inserted music video
of our new song but mistakenly the DVD turned out be of porn movie,"
Shankar said. For few seconds everybody present in the room had watched porn in
TV screen before Shankar cut off the power supply by pulling out plug. "DVD player reads these types DVDs faster
than other normal ones," Shankar added jokingly.
Shankar BC and Samjhana Budhathoki are the most popular pair
in the realm of folk songs. Together they have featured in numerous music
videos of folk songs. The two are also credited
for commercializing modeling of dohori songs.
