Sweta Khadka To Produce 'Kanchhi' Featuring Dayahang Rai

Sweta Khadka has earlier announced that she will be producing a film next year which will be directed by Aakash Adhikari. Finally Sweta has finalized the name and registered it at Nepal Film Development Board.

According to the report, Sweta Khadka has finalized the name 'Kanchhi' which will go on floor from Jestha. Film will feature Dayahang Rai romancing with Sweta in the film. Sweta has also registered new company name 'Kaya Films' from which she will be making the film 'Kanchhi'. It was expected Sweta will continue late Shree Krishna Shrestha's company 'Nepa Movies' for producing film but she has registered new company from which she will be producing films on coming days.

Arjun Pokharel and Rajan Raj Siwakoti will be composing songs for the film whereas Purshutam Pradhan is roped in for cinematography. Film will be directed by Aakash Adhikari and the post-production of the film will be held.

Kanchhi is popular name in Nepali society as well as within Nepali film industry also as around 3 decade earlier, film was made on this name which featured Shiva Shrestha and Sharmila Malla.
