Bhuwan KC Speaks About The Controversies Regarding Award Functions

Nepali award functions usually comes into controversies either due to unorganized event or due to conspiracy on the distribution of award. Recently, 9th NEFTA Award was held at Dubai which got good response from celebrities for its management but the award distribution was not appreciated by critics and celebrities. Dipendra K Khanal who was present in the event didn't received the award also which became hot issue. Along with this, Bhuwan KC and Anmol KC also came into limelight for no reason.

Anmol KC's photo and name was used by the organizer on promoting the award when Anmol and Bhuwan clarified already that they won't be attending the event. On this note, Bhuwan KC shared his views on an interview saying that using celebrities name in this way will be misleading for their fans as they will be purchasing tickets to watch them. This will not only hamper on award functions but also towards celebrities so such things shouldn't be done.

Bhuwan KC also shares that awards distribution should not be done in favor of their known persons rather there should be fair guidelines among Jury members for selecting the winner. Deserving candidates must be awarded rather than organizers' near one and dear one.
