I Loved The Script So I Requested With Rekha For Directing 'Rampyari'

After success of Rekha Thapa's first directorial venture Himmatwali, she announced that her next film Rampyari will be directed by her. After announcing this news about Rampyari getting directed by her, she re-announced that Shabir Shrestha will handle the direction part of the film. This news created some rumor that Rekha still not confident on direction so she took Shabir? Was Himmatwali directed by Shyam Bhattarai not Rekha? Why Rekha didn't direct Rampyari after Himmatwali success?

We asked Shabir Shrestha how he got this film when Rekha Thapa herself is a director and announced about directing the film. Shabir clarifies that Rekha didn't gave him responsibility of direction rather he requested her to let him direct the film. Shabir Shrestha is close to Rekha Thapa as he has assisted on few movies of Rekha Thapa's. Shabir debuted as a director from Rekha Thapa's film Kasle Choryo Mero Mann. Shabir and Rekha is busy on the shooting of the film inside Kathmandu valley. Movie features Rekha Thapa, Sabin Shrestha, Avash Adhikari, Ashma DC in lead role.
