After releasing new constitution of Nepal 2072, there has created a scenario where India has shown bitter reaction towards our new constitution. As a result, petroleum products from India are blocked to import due to which daily life of Nepali people has been affected. We can also find its severe affect upon Nepali film industry due to this case.
Bhuwan KC who started the remaining shoot of his first directorial venture 'Dreams' inside Kathmandu valley from Bishwokarma Puja. Due to lack of availability of petroleum products, shooting has been stopped until diesel and petrol gets available easily. Rekha Thapa's 'Rampyari' which also went on floor from same day got affected. Chabi Raj Ojha's next venture Kismat 2 featuring Shilpa Pokharel completed its shoot at Jomsom. After Jomsom's schedule, film was ready to shoot at valley but due to petroleum shortage shooting got stopped.
Milan Chams second directorial venture Bir Bikram was on its last phase of the shoot. Although film's shooting was not stopped due to shortage but the team faced some problem to start shooting at time due to lack of vehicles. Nai Na Bhannu La 4 is also on the floor which has faced difficulties due to petroleum shortage.
