Nischal Basnet's Talakjung Vs Tulke To Go On Oscars

Nischal Basnet second directorial venture 'Talakjung Vs Tulke' couldn't score good at box office but succeed to get selected from Nepal to send to Oscars for participating on Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.

Talakjung Vs Tulke will be competing with other foreign language films on Feburary 28 at Los Angeles. Talakjung Vs Tulke portrays the story of a common man of a village who have to struggle during the time of insurgency of Maoists. Dayahang Rai, Reecha Sharma, Khagendra Lamichhane were featured in the movie. Movie received positive reponse from the critics but couldn't do excellent business as it was expected.
