Hindi Channels And Movies Got Banned

Hindi television channels has been banned in Nepal. Broadcasting of Hindi television channels and screening Bollywood movies at theaters has been banned from today. After a meeting of Tv channel association and Cable Associations, broadcasting of the hindi channels has been banned.

After releasing new constitution of Nepal 2072, India has not shown support and is not in favor of new constitution due to which there has been blockade on petroleum products too. For the protest against the decision of India, Hindi television channels and films has been banned.

As soon as television channels has been banned, Government has released a notice to not ban the television channels and asked to give justification to Government regarding this issue. Government has asked all these associations to provide justification to the Government regarding this issue. Check the notice sent by Government below:
