Rekha Thapa’s Himmatwali has done the business above one crore club within four days of its release. Himmatwali has done the business of about 1.22 crore business within four days. This is an excellent business for Rekha Thapa’s movie as it has included only one section of audience. Multiplex don’t have any contribution on the business of Himmatwali. Movie is running well on single screens across Nepal. Observing the trend of the business, movie have possibility to do business around 2 crore.
Himmatwali is the first movie of Rekha Thapa as a director. Rekha has proved that an actor can make a movie hit in Nepal also. She has proved herself a superstar of Nepali film industry with Himmatwali. By entering to crore club, Rekha Thapa’s Himmatwali has given tough competition to her ex-husband Chabbi Ojha’s movie Lazza which is releasing on Tihar.
